It was Valentine's day yesterday. While I wasn't exactly out and about, I did go for dinner with the family. In my opinion, Valentine's day is a just an excuse to celebrate with the people you love. Of course, the presence of good food is always a major check mark in my book!

I wore really casual clothes to Uni during the day, since it started raining just when I was about to leave, but dressed up a little for the evening. I knew ages ago that I wanted to wear my Ahai Lipstick Print Shirt on Valentine's day! It gives off the perfect valentine's day vibe without being the obvious, hearts and roses print that invariably takes over the world on this day.









I paired my printed shirt with these plaid shorts and a pair of flats. I managed to give myself a few shoe-bites as I was breaking in new shoes during the day, so I stuck to my well-worn sandals for the evening. Since I haven't yet found my shade of 'red' for a seductive pout, I kept my makeup simple, meaning, what I do everyday. Lol, I really am useless when it comes to that right? Somebody, please give me a crash course!!

I love it when we're graced with that one odd day of winter. This happened a couple of days ago, this gave me the perfect opportunity to bring out my new shirt. I've got major love for this shirt! I bought this shirt on one of my trips to Colaba. I had quite a few doubts about whether it would fit me or not, which thankfully never came true. This shirt, is such a great fit, perfect for a chilly day in Mumbai. Light enough for the afternoon and cosy enough to stop the chilly winds from blowing you away. If you're around Colaba, you definitely need to get one of the millions of denim shirts currently doing the rounds of the stalls there.

Plaid is synonymous with winters. When mom and I went shopping last month, I saw this scarf and looking at the price tag, I couldn't resist. I love how the color makes it look a little different from the regular plaid scarfs, and its come quite handy in the winter mornings while travelling to college and also for making a fashion statement.









Today's pictures were taken in a particularly crazy mood. So I did a couple of silly things with the scarf. I think that a scarf is the most versatile piece of clothing anyone can have, and can instantly make a huge difference to any regular outfit.
