Summer Workwear : How to Wear your Weekend Clothes to Work

20:36:00

Hello you lovely people! It's the new schedule on the blog. Since Workwear Mondays were getting just a little to difficult to accomplish with all the aplomb that I like, we've shifted things around and now what you'll be getting instead is Workwear Wednesdays! To make up for the change of the program, I've come up with something special for Saturday  (read on to know more folks, this one's a goodie!)

Summer days mean all those pretty skirts and strappy tops come out to play. I personally love wearing bright colors when summer comes around and this skirt is one of my absolute favorites. Add a structured bag and a messy bun (I added the flowers for a bit of color but you're more than welcome to skip those) and you've got a fun work outfit. Of course, if you work in an office where sleeveless is frowned upon (and yes, I've been at a few of those), I'd suggest layering the camisole with a blazer or a shirt below (linen shirts work best). Add a pair of sensible heels (I've been living in kitten heels for the last few months when heels are needed) and you've got the breeziest summer workwear look without breaking a sweat!

Bird Print Camisole: Rs. 200, Fashion Street
Skirt: Rs. 500, Koovs Sale
Earrings: Gift
Braclet worn as an Armband: Rs. 100, Linking Road Bandra
Heels: Rs. 1000, Zara Sale

Total Outfit Cost: Rs. 1800, which is around ₤18

Now if you're looking through your closet and thinking to yourself, damn, I don't actually own anything summery or you think you can't quite wear this outfit yourself, I've got you covered. You don't need the exact same outfit that I'm wearing to create a pretty summer look. All you need is a bit of a system and that's exactly what I created for you.

The bonus I spoke about is a free masterclass on how to style yourself with clothes you already own. All you need to do is sign up for my newsletter and you're in. So what will you get? First, a live session with me to solve all your style dilemmas AND a free downloadable summer checklist that will help you figure out what works best for you and how you can figure out what pieces do and do not work well together.
