Happy Monday all you lovely people!! Is the grey weather getting you down? Are you dreading puddle hopping on your way to the office and want some simple ways to dress for work? Today' post is definitely for you!! Looking good in the office is never easy and the rains always throw a wrench in my best laid outfits. However, after two years of working in the corporate world, I think I've finally managed to figure out the trick to looking put together no matter what the weather!

The first tip is a no brainer. Switch sheos when you get to work! If you've got the luxury of working in the same office everyday (I don't on some days!) then I'd say stash a pair at work and slip into those once you get to work.

The second is fabric. I can't stress the importance of this, the fabric of the dress has to be quick dry. I've seen that textured fabrics are a good way to wear clothes that dry faster and don't show the potential water marks if you get splashed! Oh, and darker fabrics are always a good idea. A black dress or a grey dress will work a whole lot better at concealing those splash marks than a white dress. If you must have some white, then why not wear it in the form of your accessories!

Finally, don't forget to accessorise with a sturdy umbrella. This is a must in the rains and invest in this so that you'll be able to use it for years!

I hope this post has given you some ideas about dressing for the office in the rains. If you've got any monsoon dressing tricks, feel free to share them in the comments below!
