So its Halloween. While I have no time to celebrate anything other than tests getting over, I decided if I couldn't go and celebrate I could atleast have a little Halloween feeling at home (Its awrite to wear pretty clothes and study at home right?). This is the most 'angelic' dress that I own. While I don't have angel wings and a halo, not to mention time to take loads of outfit pictures, its still a pretty cool dress innit? Promise I'l style it much better next time!

Yet another throwback post. My family is a big on beach outings. This was what I wore to a 'beach day' and then lunch at a restaurant with the family. I love lazy days like this, and right now, when I'm burdened with a million assignments that need to be completed before the end of this month, the post gives me hope for the future.

Little white dresses are the new LBDs. Okay, so I don't really think so to be honest. I however believe a nice white cotton dress works really well with the Mumbai weather. I didn't wear all the pearly goodies when we went to the beach though. I'm not that crazy. Also, my brother tends to think sand baths are a great way to bond...so...yea.

If you notice the pictures carefully, you'll realise, this is more of a later-post. I wore this outfit sometime before navratri, but somehow, never managed to feature it. So here it is. I love love love this dress. More than that, I love the sentiment behind it. I absolutely adore the dear friend who gifted it to me. (Not to mention managed to handle all the crazy 'I can't find anything' rants!). Thank you soo much!! You know who you are! ;)

While this dress has featured once before on the blog (It was masquerading as a skirt back then) I have a few issues with the fit. So what do you do when you're too lazy to alter clothes, layer it with a scarf!! Oh yea, I can be lazy when I have about 10 assignments to be completed with unrealistic deadlines. Add a charm bracelet, flats and your ready to hop out of the house in a matter of seconds. No extra Glam-up required, thank you very much!

Do you still adore peplums? How do you deal with little alteration errors your simply too lazy to deal with? Talk to me in the comments below. Or join the conversation on facebook!!

For a girl who said she had no yellow clothes the previous day, I can't believe I managed to change outfits twice!! One for Uni and the other for a haircut (finally!!). Extremely proud of myself for managing to pull together these two outfits while rushing about with a million things in my head.

You can almost pretend I've chopped off my tresses!

Excuse the tired expression, this was after an very mentally exhausting day.

I've had a haircut!! How cool is the new, much more aligned hair? Oh, you can't really figure it out? Well, its a good couple of inches shorter and has a lot my structure up front. All in all, a pretty good cut that should last me through a few weeks.

What do you think of the new haircut? Also, what are you wearing this Navratri? Talk to me in the comments below or send me a line on Twitter.

Red! I was extremely shocked when I couldn't find anything yesterday morning that was both, Uni appropriate and red. Yes, I kid you not! Thankfully, my gorgeous collection of vintage things came to my rescue. (Big thank you to my aunt!). This little top has been in the family for about 2 generations now, or so I hear! Its got handmade bead designs, is a throwback to the old days when people had time to do intricate work to their outfits and it still looks like a million bucks! Yay!!

Oh yes! It was a white Monday! I decided I'd go traditional for the day since it is a fairly colorful festival (no, mum had nothing to do with it, honest!). I paired basics that you can find in any Indian girl's wardrobe with a statement piece, aka my fabulous Anushree Reddy scarf! I have to say, I was totally floored by all the compliments I got for this scarf!! You may remember it from my post on Anushree Reddy's collection at Lakme Fashion Week. (If not, you can refresh your memory here).

I added these earrings from yesterday again (thank you so much Martyne!!) since I felt they went well with the whole gold, white and pink theme I had going on. All in all, an outfit that I'm extremely happy with, and one which you can replicate easily with things you already have in your wardrobe!

I have a very weird fashion sense. That's something I've heard quite a bit at Uni lately. I'm not sure how much of that is true. I find to extremely difficult to balance the expectations of Uni dressing with my own personal style. So today's outfit is what I typically wear to Uni. Simple tunic top, jeans, heels. This is one of the rare outfits I wasn't told was not normal. Oh well, normal is overrated, right. Right?

This tunic is a few seasons old Remanika and is a worn a lot on an everyday basis. However, it hasn't made its blog debut till now. I added these fabulous feather earrings to give it a little boho edge. The trousers are shiny and surprisingly thin (a definite plus in the current heat wave).
