This is the last part of my outfit round up of 2013. I'm a little sad, a little happy and quite excited to say buhbyee to 2013 and a big hello to 2014! Its been a rollercoaster. I've started Uni again, done fairly well, cursed quite a bit about how rubbish my life was in the last few months and still managed to enjoy myself. I have a few resolutions lined up for the coming year. Do you have any yet?

First off, Its my Birthday today!! Yay!! Happy birthday to mee!!
This post was supposed to be put up yesterday, but since I was too busy talking to people on the phone (yes, working weekdays aren't very good for celebrating birthdays) I couldn't post it. Oh well, this wasn't really my birthday outfit, but I'l post birthday pictures tomorrow. (Honestly, there aren't that many, but more on that tomorrow)



You've all seen this dress if your a regular reader of my blog. Its absolutely adorable! I've worn it so many different ways and I still always manage to find newer ways. Yay!! Big high fives to my dear cousin for sending it to me! I kept the look simple and clean with just a simple long necklace that I picked up while shopping for a friend. It makes me feel like I'm a character in Doctor Who, or an old Sherlock Holmes story.

Winter goodness is here. This definitely means that its time to bust out the tights. Oh how I love saying that! Well, in all my excitement, I'm giving you two looks that you can rock this winter (read two days of dipped temperatures) without a lot of effort! Here's the first one.






I love wearing all those 'a little too short' dresses in winter since they're made more work appropriate with a pair of tights and maybe a jumper. Dress too low uptop? Why scarves are great for giving you a little warmth and preserving your modesty at the same time. All in all, you get way more options to dress with a little effort.

This weekend was supposed to be about serious studying. Instead, it turned out to be a crazy cousins weekend. I spent it taking long walks on the beach, well..it was more like running with my brother playing tag, having lunch with cousins, playing with my sister's lil girl and oh, a little bit of studying thrown in. So are you excited to see what I wore?








This dress is an item that featured ages ago on my blog. Remember this my first few readers?? I recently did a wardrobe messup (okay, it may have puked a few dozen clothes, and I may have stuffed them inside like our local trains). Result, this dress came up to the front and I just couldn't resist wearing it to the beach. Since my brother decided we should have a sand fight (yep, that's throwing sand on each other and running, lots of running), I tied my hair in a messy bun. All in all, a look I'm totally in love with!

So its Halloween. While I have no time to celebrate anything other than tests getting over, I decided if I couldn't go and celebrate I could atleast have a little Halloween feeling at home (Its awrite to wear pretty clothes and study at home right?). This is the most 'angelic' dress that I own. While I don't have angel wings and a halo, not to mention time to take loads of outfit pictures, its still a pretty cool dress innit? Promise I'l style it much better next time!

No, I'm not really going to go all technical on you and start talking about efficient algorithms and implementations. I have enough of that in Uni and this is my happy place! I just can't seem to shake off the 'lingo' we use all day, hence the title.

Engineers tend to make up big words and titles to sound all intelligent, when all that means is using your limited clothes to your best advantage. So here's my take on wardrobe optimization. Remember my gorgeous butterfly dress? Well, I just realized that every time I wear it, I seem to do something different with it. So here's the same dress..worn three ways.

Prints are really big this season. Well, in my wardrobe atleast. I remember a conversation with my cousin round about the time I started this blog where she was asking me to get some prints in my life. Yes, my wardrobe consists mostly of block colored outfits that I like to layer with crazy accessories. She on the other hand is a big fan of prints and is one of the key reasons why I'm playing with prints now.

Yet another throwback post. My family is a big on beach outings. This was what I wore to a 'beach day' and then lunch at a restaurant with the family. I love lazy days like this, and right now, when I'm burdened with a million assignments that need to be completed before the end of this month, the post gives me hope for the future.








Little white dresses are the new LBDs. Okay, so I don't really think so to be honest. I however believe a nice white cotton dress works really well with the Mumbai weather. I didn't wear all the pearly goodies when we went to the beach though. I'm not that crazy. Also, my brother tends to think sand baths are a great way to bond...so...yea.

If you notice the pictures carefully, you'll realise, this is more of a later-post. I wore this outfit sometime before navratri, but somehow, never managed to feature it. So here it is. I love love love this dress. More than that, I love the sentiment behind it. I absolutely adore the dear friend who gifted it to me. (Not to mention managed to handle all the crazy 'I can't find anything' rants!). Thank you soo much!! You know who you are! ;)









While this dress has featured once before on the blog (It was masquerading as a skirt back then) I have a few issues with the fit. So what do you do when you're too lazy to alter clothes, layer it with a scarf!! Oh yea, I can be lazy when I have about 10 assignments to be completed with unrealistic deadlines. Add a charm bracelet, flats and your ready to hop out of the house in a matter of seconds. No extra Glam-up required, thank you very much!
