I love finding new ways to wear old things in my wardrobe. There's something exhilarating about seeing something you always wear, then seeing it in a whole different light. Its almost like getting a new outfit without shopping! Score! Today's outfit is exactly that. Old wardrobe basic, worn in a classic way using a little imagination.







This dress! Are you wondering why you don't know about it? Well, its my mum's skirt. Its black, midi length, and pleated. This could very well be one of my dream skirts. However, thanks to my recent weight loss, it just didn't fit right and so I decided, hey, no reason to get sad, lets turn it into a dress. One belt and a little pleat adjustment later, Hello LBD!!

After a long time, I seem to be posting a sneak peek post. Thanks to finals week coming up, I can't seem to have time to edit all the posts! So, here, a sneak peek into tomorrow's post.

In case you haven't realized from my last couple of posts (don't worry, you can read them here and here), since I haven't been able to get any time to go out to shop thanks to end semester exams (I have one on Monday too!). But this hasn't stopped me from shopping, albeit inside my house. Nope, online shopping is a little slow for me sometimes and because my mom has some of the best vintage clothes, I decided its time to play 'steal borrow mum's clothes'!







These white trousers are what mom wore on her, can you believe it, honeymoon! I have been in love with them since I was about five. But back then, I'd probably fit in about one eight of its leg! So anyway, since the weather's been taking a turn to the cooler side, almost, I decided to bust out my layer-able clothes. This cami is a wardrobe staple and I added the belt to at a little structure to the whole outfit!

Have you been sweating like crazy lately?! I sure have! October heat has arrived! Okay, its more like almost gone, but this past week is when I've really started feeling October. Bringing in heat from all directions, Uni, Home and the very literal sense, its making me wish for cooler 'Autumn/Winter' or what passes as winter in Mumbai.










This outfit is a marriage of practicality and wishful thinking. I wore my fabulous Globus leather skirt (this is so cool, wish they'd bring back more stock) with a simply casual cotton tee. I added a little belt for a more structured look. (Yep, I've lost a little weight which means the skirt almost slips down without a belt!)
