Three Ways to Wear - A Red Oversized Jumper

08:36:00

It's 10 days to Christmas and that means all the crazy Christmas jumpers are out. I absolutely love a red jumper and think they're a staple for this season and they instantly make you look better without a lot of effort. I know a lot of people who sometimes struggle with oversized jumpers so this guide is here to help all of you navigate the knits with style!

A Classic Christmas Party Look

If there's one trend that can define 2018 then it has to be animal print. A fitted at the waist, skirt with an oversized jumper can really create a simple but striking party look. The animal print on the skirt actually compliments the scarf with it's colours in the same shade range but still adds a classic twist to a very modern look. A pair of simple heels, and minimal makeup and you've got a look that's a perfect party outfit but can still be warm and cosy at the same time!

The Fashionista Look

You know what's the easiest trick to make people think you've got that fashion gene even when you don't? It's simply wearing something people would not imagine together. This outfit is actually very simple, but it packs a punch mainly because people it's colour combination that isn't usually worn. Colour-blocking is a trend that's old but it's still a great little trick to bring back to create a simple but fashionable look. Believe me, you'll have atleast one person comment on how this is a combination they didn't think of before!

The Slouchy Cool Look

Finally, this is probably a look that I think many people would shy away from and I understand that. Shock people by pairing a slouchy jumper with a pair of palazzos instead of a more fitted set. The trick (as I always tell you) is to add a statement belt to it so that you aren't drowning in fabric. While the ones I'm wearing have a fabric belt with them, any statement belt would work just as well. I added the scarf because I can't keep away from it and hello, how pretty is that print!!

That's all for today folks. I hope this gives you a little bit of inspiration for a Christmas look. If red isn't your colour, stay tuned because there are going to be several more outfits coming up through this week to hopefully give you some more style inspiration! Till then, have a great day and a very Merry Christmas!!
